Jelly Roll Morton (* zwischen 1884 und 1890[1] in Gulfport, Mississippi als Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe; † 10. Juli 1941 in Los Angeles) war ein US-amerikanischer Pianist, Komponist und Bandleader. Er gilt als einer der einflussreichen Jazzmusiker seiner Zeit.
